COSMIC UPDATE WEEK 20
MONDAY, May 12 - 18
Energy this week
We begin this week with an intense and transformative full moon in Scorpio on May 12. This full moon has been building for days and its effects will continue for several more. After Monday, we move into the waning moon phase, in which the energy of the moon gradually begins to fade.
In addition, we are experiencing an unstable geomagnetic field that is fluctuating strongly. The sun is currently active, sending high-frequency plasma clouds toward Earth. We are moving toward the solar maximum. The chances of strong solar flares and storms are increasing. Each flare and solar storm raises the frequency of the Earth and also our own individual vibration.
Because the Earth's magnetic field is weakening and allowing more radiation through, we are beginning to feel cosmic events more intensely. This has an impact. Our brain, heart rate, and nervous system are especially affected. You may feel that your brain is not functioning as clearly as usual - difficulty focusing, more brain fog, or scattered thoughts. Your heart rate may be faster or irregular, and your nervous system may feel tense. With all of these physiological changes, your body needs more time to process everything. To prevent overload, headaches, or emotional breakdowns, plan moments of rest and silence and stay grounded with the Earth.
May 12: Full Moon in Scorpio
In the previous update we already wrote about this full moon. If you missed it, we'll repeat the most important points.
Scorpio is one of the most intense, sensitive, and powerful signs of the zodiac. Scorpios can feel deeply, are highly instinctive, and are able to survive in crisis situations. You cannot hide secrets from them - they will dig until they find the truth. The strength, courage, determination, and discipline of Scorpio can help you descend further into yourself, into places where you may have previously felt stuck or not yet ready to go. This opens the door for a next step: healing deep wounds, letting go of toxic patterns, relationships, fears, or attachments, or reaching a life-changing breakthrough.
Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio. The combination of a full moon in Scorpio during Pluto retrograde can create a powerful transformative energy that stirs many people and moves them deeply.
Especially around this full moon, you may be confronted with your shadow aspects and deepest fears. This full moon, supported by Pluto, puts a giant magnifying glass over everything, making sadness, fear, and other emotions feel much stronger than they actually are. Be mindful of that. Don't get caught in or paralyzed by the super-drama mode. Distract yourself. Shift your attention. Do calming and nurturing things and return to peace in nature. Let yourself be held by Mother Earth. Stand barefoot on the ground and exhale everything you are ready to release.
Pluto's energy is often wrongly feared and associated with power, manipulation, control, destruction, and darkness. But Pluto rules our subconscious and shines a light on all that is still hidden. In the coming period - especially around the full moon in Scorpio - you may be more strongly confronted with your shadows and deepest fears. This moon supported by Pluto acts like a magnifier, intensifying everything, and can make grief, anxiety, and emotional pain feel much heavier than they truly are. Keep that in mind. Do not freeze or get stuck in emotional overwhelm. Step back, breathe, shift your focus, and rest in nature. Let yourself be supported by the Earth. Breathe out everything you are ready to let go of - tension, unrest, doubt, anger, or sadness.
Pluto retrograde turns your focus inward. This period also shows you that if you use your power and talents purely - not for personal gain, control, or self-glorification - you have nothing to fear. Unethical patterns or behavior may now come to light or fall apart.
May 16: Ceres enters Aries
Not much is said yet about the dwarf planet Ceres. It lies between Mars and Jupiter. Ceres was discovered in 1801 by Giuseppe Piazzi and was once called the eighth planet, named after the Roman goddess of agriculture, fertility, and motherly love. In astrology, Ceres represents motherhood, your upbringing, self-worth, and care - for yourself and others.
At first, Ceres was called a planet, but was later classified as an asteroid. In 2006, its status was reviewed together with Pluto's, resulting in a downgrade for Pluto, and both were reclassified as dwarf planets. A new category was created.
On May 16, Ceres moves into the powerful sign of Aries. This energy helps you act more assertively, set boundaries, stand up for yourself, and take better care of yourself and your loved ones. Children and family members may need more nurturing at this time. Love is meant to be shared, but never at the expense of yourself. The best example you can give your children is to be a parent who is in balance, who loves themselves, keeps their heart open, and sets loving limits when needed. Some days you'll get closer to that ideal than others. You don't have to be perfect. Let go of the pressure. It's enough to simply be human.
How are you feeling during or around the full moon in Scorpio? What shadow or emotional pain is coming to the surface? And what helps you stay connected to yourself and to the Earth in times like these?

We begin this week with an intense and transforming Full Moon in Scorpio on May 12. This full moon you felt coming for days and will continue to have an impact in the days ahead. After Monday, we move into the waning moon phase, where the lunar energy slowly weakens.

May 12: full moon in Scorpio
We wrote about this full moon in the previous update. In case you missed that one, we repeat the most important information below.
Scorpio is one of the most intense, sensitive and powerful signs of the zodiac. Scorpions have a razor-sharp sense of everything, are very instinctive and can handle crisis situations well. Secrets do not last with them, they keep digging until they uncover the truth. Scorpio's strength, courage, boldness and discipline can help you descend deeper into yourself - exactly in those places where you were previously stuck or not ready. This can lead to the next step: healing deep wounds, releasing toxic patterns, relationships, fears or attachments or achieving a profound breakthrough.
Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio. A full moon in Scorpio coinciding with Pluto retrograde can evoke a particularly transformative energy that moves or shakes up many people.
Around this full moon, you may be extra confronted with your shadow pieces and deepest fears. The moon, amplified by Pluto, magnifies everything. Grief, fear or other feelings can feel much more intense than they really are. Keep that in mind. Don't be paralyzed or carried away by a sense of drama. Deliberately bring your attention somewhere else. Do something relaxing, go into nature and unwind. Let yourself be carried by Mother Earth. Stand firmly with both feet on the ground and breathe out everything you want to let go of.
Pluto's energy is often wrongly linked to power, manipulation, control, destruction and darkness. But Pluto rules the subconscious and sheds light on all that is still hidden. This period, especially around the Full Moon in Scorpio, you may be confronted more strongly than usual with your own fears and pain points. Everything is magnified. Don't let that overwhelm you. Breathe, be gentle with yourself, bring back your focus and find peace. Let go of tension, doubt, anger or sadness.
Pluto retrograde directs your attention inward. This phase helps you feel that you have nothing to fear if you use your strength and talents in a pure way, not for personal gain or display of power. Unreal structures and patterns may now become visible or disintegrate.
May 16: Ceres to Aries
The dwarf planet Ceres is not often talked about. This planet is located between Mars and Jupiter. Discovered in 1801 by Giuseppe Piazzi, Ceres was initially named the eighth planet. She is named after the Roman goddess of agriculture, fertility and maternal love. In astrology, Ceres symbolizes motherhood, your upbringing, self-esteem and caring - for yourself and others.
Initially considered a planet, Ceres was later classified as an asteroid. In 2006, the status of Ceres and Pluto was reviewed and both were renamed dwarf planets. This created a new category.
On May 16, Ceres enters the fiery sign of Aries. This energy encourages you to be more assertive, set boundaries, choose for yourself and take better care of yourself and your loved ones. Children or family members may need more maternal care now. Love is there to be shared, but not if it comes at the expense of yourself. The best example you can set is a parent who is balanced, loving himself or herself, keeping his or her heart open and setting loving boundaries. Some days this works better than others. You don't have to be perfect. Lower the bar. Being human is enough.
How do you feel during or around the full moon in Scorpio? What pieces of shadow or pain surface in you? And what helps you to stay close to yourself and connected to the earth in such dynamic times?

Cosmic Update Week 20
Montag, 12. - 18. Mai
