Energy This Week

After all the intensity of recent weeks, we have been in an integration phase since last week. In particular, the full moon in Scorpio on May 1 and Pluto turning retrograde on May 6 have drawn you into the depths.

You may feel as though you have descended into the "dark cellar of the soul." You may have seen and felt things about yourself or others that you would rather not have seen or felt, but that are unavoidable. This energy sheds light on everything. Everything that is hidden becomes visible. When you are in the midst of such a process, it is anything but comfortable, but it is a powerful catalyst for profound soul growth. Gaining experiences and growing from them is, after all, one of the most important reasons why we are here on earth.

A great deal has been stirred up and set in motion, and everything is beginning to settle. Among other things, the new moon in Taurus helps you with this this week. Last week and this week, you may be more in tune with your body and experience more physical discomfort and imbalance. Your stomach may be more sensitive and bloated. Your digestion may be disrupted. Your muscles and bones may be more painful. And you may have more headaches, changes in appetite, fatigue, and heart palpitations. This is also a good time to take a close look at your lifestyle and eating habits. Are your body and mind getting the nourishment and self-care they need?

Mercury brings extra clarity to your thoughts and communication this week, which can help conversations flow more easily. This energy can be helpful when you need to say difficult things or work through conflicts.

Lunar phases: waning moon (until May 15), new moon (May 16), and waxing moon (May 17).

May 14: Sun conjunct Mercury

Clarity is filling the air, amplified even further by the sun. Words come to mind effortlessly, as though they flow much more easily. And you may find that you can explain more difficult concepts in a way that’s easier to understand.

What once felt vague now takes on direction and meaning. Trust your voice, your ideas, and the truth that resides quietly yet clearly within you. This is a beautiful moment to express your feelings, share an insight, or finally be heard. This energy will become even more powerful when Mercury enters its home sign, Gemini, in a few days.

May 16: New Moon in Taurus and Mars conjunct Chiron

The new moon in Taurus invites you to return to what truly matters. Not the quick fix or the impulse of the moment, but that which brings peace, stability, and trust. This energy calls for slowing down. Consciously attuning to what is sustainable for your heart, body, and life. What you sow now has the potential to take firm root, provided you give it time to grow.

In astrology, the moon is often associated with the feminine: receptivity, emotion, intuition, and inner wisdom. Mars, on the other hand, embodies a distinct masculine energy: decisive, fiery, and focused on action and movement. With the new moon in the earthy, calming sign of Taurus and Mars in conjunction with Chiron, an inner tension may arise between softness and action, between slowing down and the urge to charge forward.

The suppressed feminine may now come to the surface more strongly. Emotions, desires, or fatigue that have been ignored for a long time are demanding attention. Perhaps you realize just how much you’ve been used to pushing through, performing, or maintaining control, while a deeper part of you longs precisely for rest, safety, and a nurturing space.

Chiron, the wounded healer, touches the deepest layers of old pain and vulnerability. In combination with Mars, wounds related to self-confidence, boundaries, anger, visibility, or the courage to be yourself may come to the surface. Perhaps you notice frustration, sensitivity, or doubt when you try to move forward. It is precisely there that the invitation lies: not to fight against your vulnerability, but to recognize it as a source of strength, awareness, and healing.

Taurus reminds you that not everything needs to be forced. This earth sign moves slowly but purposefully and teaches you to trust in natural timing. Mars calls for speed and direct action, but Taurus asks for presence, patience, and grounding. The art of this energy does not lie in choosing between the feminine and the masculine, but in finding balance between the two: feeling and acting, resting and moving, softening and setting boundaries.

Dare to make choices that are in line with your values. You may stand firm on this, just as Taurus does. Build from a foundation of self-respect and natural boundaries, not from haste or the need to prove yourself. Give yourself the space to move forward slowly but deliberately. Small steps taken with care and intention ultimately prove to be the most valuable.

Work with this energy by grounding yourself. Spend time in nature, relax, connect with your body (through a body scan or meditation), write down your intentions, do some hands-on work, or create a sense of calm in your surroundings.

May 17: Mercury in Gemini

After the calming clarity of the Sun-Mercury conjunction, the energy is now starting to shift noticeably. With Mercury in Gemini, thoughts, conversations, and ideas gain momentum. Mercury feels right at home in this air sign: curious, playful, sharp-witted, and constantly seeking connection. It’s as though the world is starting to spin faster again, and new information is coming at you from all directions at once.

You may find that your need for interaction, inspiration, and mental stimulation is growing. Conversations open doors, unexpected encounters offer insights, and ideas seem to come to you faster than you can keep up with them. This is a wonderful time for writing, learning, networking, brainstorming, or putting into words the insights that have emerged during moments of quiet reflection in recent days.

But where movement returns, the tendency to go in all directions at once also arises. Scattering your attention, wanting to take on too much, or getting lost in a constant stream of input is a real risk right now. It is precisely for this reason that this energy calls for conscious focus. Not every idea needs to be acted upon immediately. Not every thought demands an answer.

Work through this transition by giving your curiosity room to breathe, but at the same time, take regular pauses to notice what truly resonates with you. Consciously choose which conversations nourish you and which information you let in. When you allow your mind moments of rest, clarity emerges amid all the noise.

Mercury in Gemini reminds you that growth doesn’t always have to be a heavy burden. Sometimes, progress comes precisely from lightness, playfulness, and daring to follow your curiosity. A question can now be more valuable than a direct answer.

"What truth has come to light within you in recent weeks? And what changes when you stop pushing yourself and choose to embrace that truth with gentleness, trust, and inner strength?"

Energy diese Woche

After all the intensity of the past few weeks, we have been in an integration phase since last week. In particular, the full moon in Scorpio on May 1 and Pluto, which went retrograde on May 6, have drawn you into the depths.

You may feel as though you’ve descended into the “dark basement of the soul.” You may have seen and felt things about yourself or others that you would rather not have seen or felt, but which are inevitable. This energy illuminates everything. Everything that is hidden becomes visible. If you are in the midst of such a process, it is anything but pleasant, but it is an enormous catalyst for profound soul growth. After all, gaining experience and growing from it is one of the most important reasons why we are here on Earth.

A lot has been stirred up and set in motion, and everything is starting to settle down. Among other things, the new moon in Taurus will help you with this this week. Last week and this week, you may be more in tune with your body and experience more physical discomfort and imbalance. Your stomach may be more sensitive and bloated. Your digestion may be out of sync. Your muscles and bones may be more painful. And you may have more headaches, changes in appetite, fatigue, and heart palpitations. This is also a good time to take a close look at your lifestyle and eating habits. Are your body and mind getting the nourishment and self-care they need?

Lunar phases: waning moon (through May 15), new moon (May 16), and waxing moon (May 17).

May 14: Sun conjunct Mercury

Clarity fills the air, which gains even more energy from the sun. Words flow effortlessly, as if they were much lighter. And you may notice that you can explain more complex ideas more clearly.

What previously felt vague is now taking shape and gaining meaning. Trust your inner voice, your ideas, and the truth that lives within you—gentle yet clear. This is a wonderful moment to express what you feel, share an insight, or finally be heard. This flow will become even more powerful when Mercury enters its home sign of Gemini in a few days.

May 16: New Moon in Taurus and Mars conjunct Chiron

The new moon in Taurus invites you to return to what truly matters. Not the quick fix or the impulse of the moment, but what brings peace, stability, and trust. This energy calls for slowing down. Consciously sensing what is sustainable for your heart, your body, and your life. What you sow now has the potential to take deep root, provided you give it time to grow.

In astrology, the Moon is often associated with the feminine: receptivity, feeling, intuition, and inner wisdom. Mars, on the other hand, embodies a distinct masculine energy: energetic, fiery, and focused on action and movement. With the new moon in earthy, calming Taurus and Mars conjunct Chiron at the same time, an inner tension between gentleness and action, between slowing down and wanting to rush forward, may become palpable.

The suppressed feminine side can now come to the surface more strongly. Emotions, desires, or fatigue that have long been ignored are demanding attention. Perhaps you sense how accustomed you were to pushing forward, performing, or maintaining control, while a deeper part of you is crying out for peace, security, and comfort.

Chiron, the wounded healer, touches the deepest layers of old pain and vulnerability. In combination with Mars, wounds related to self-confidence, boundaries, anger, visibility, or the courage to show yourself may become apparent. You may notice frustration, sensitivity, or doubt when you want to take steps forward. That is precisely where the invitation lies: not to fight against your vulnerability, but to acknowledge it as a place of strength, awareness, and healing.

Taurus reminds you that not everything has to be forced. This earth sign moves slowly but purposefully and teaches you to trust natural timing. Mars demands speed and direct action, but Taurus calls for presence, patience, and grounding. Small steps, nourished by mindfulness and intention, ultimately prove to be the most valuable.

Work with this energy by grounding yourself. Spend time in nature, relax, connect with your body (through a body scan or meditation), write down your intentions, create something with your hands, or bring calm to your surroundings.

May 17: Mercury in Gemini

After the calming clarity of the Sun-Mercury conjunction, energy is now beginning to shift noticeably. With Mercury in Gemini, thoughts, conversations, and ideas are gaining momentum. Mercury feels right at home in this air sign: curious, playful, sharp-witted, and constantly seeking connection. It’s as if the world is starting to spin faster again and new information is flooding in from all sides at once.

Energy this week

After all the intensity of the coming weeks, we’ve been in an integration phase since last week. The full moon in Scorpio on May 1 and Pluto going retrograde on May 6, in particular, have drawn you into the depths.

You may feel as though you have descended into the “dark cellar of the soul.” You may have seen and felt things about yourself or others that you would rather not have seen or felt, but which are inevitable. This energy sheds light on everything. Everything that is hidden becomes visible. If you’re in the middle of such a process, it’s anything but comfortable, but it is a powerful catalyst for profound soul growth. Gaining experiences and growing from them is, after all, one of the main reasons we’re here on Earth.

There’s been a lot of upheaval and turbulence, and things are starting to settle down. Among other things, the new moon in Taurus will help you with this this week. Over the past week and this week, you may feel your body becoming stronger and experience more physical discomfort and imbalance. Your stomach may feel more sensitive and bloated. Your digestion may be out of whack. Your muscles and bones may be more painful. And you may have more headaches, changes in appetite, fatigue, and heart palpitations. This is also a good time to take a close look at your lifestyle and eating habits. Are your body and mind getting the nourishment and self-care they need?

This week, Mercury brings extra clarity to your thoughts and communication, making conversations flow more easily. This energy can help you if you need to discuss difficult topics or resolve conflicts.

Moon phases: waning moon (through May 15), new moon (May 16), and waxing moon (May 17).

May 14: Sun conjunct Mercury

The air becomes clearer, and the sun makes it even brighter. Words come to mind effortlessly, as if they flow much more easily. And you find that you can explain even the most difficult concepts in a way that’s easier to understand.

May 16: New Moon in Taurus and Mars conjunct Chiron

The new moon in Taurus invites you to return to what truly matters. Not the quick fix or the impulse of the moment, but what brings peace, stability, and confidence. This energy calls for slowing down. Consciously tune into what is sustainable for your heart, body, and life. What you sow now has the potential to take deep root, provided you give it time to grow.

In astrology, the moon is often associated with the feminine: receptivity, feeling, intuition, and inner wisdom. Mars, on the other hand, carries a distinctly masculine energy: decisive, fiery, focused on action and movement. With the new moon in the earthy, calming sign of Taurus and Mars conjunct Chiron at the same time, an inner tension may become palpable between gentleness and action, between slowing down and wanting to rush forward.

The repressed feminine side may now come to the surface more strongly. Emotions, desires, or fatigue that have been ignored for a long time are demanding attention. You may realize just how accustomed you’ve been to pushing through, performing, or maintaining control, while a deeper part of you actually longs for rest, safety, and a sense of belonging.

Chiron, the wounded healer, touches the deepest layers of old pain and vulnerability. In combination with Mars, pain points related to self-confidence, boundaries, anger, visibility, or daring to assert yourself may become palpable. You may notice frustration, sensitivity, or doubt when you want to take steps forward. That is precisely where the invitation lies: not to fight your vulnerability, but to acknowledge it as a place of strength, awareness, and healing.

Taurus reminds you that not everything needs to be forced. This earth sign moves slowly but purposefully and teaches you to trust in natural timing. Mars demands speed and immediate action, but Taurus calls for presence, patience, and grounding. The art of this energy lies not in choosing between the feminine or masculine, but in finding balance between the two: feeling and acting, resting and moving, softening and setting boundaries.

Dare to make choices that align with your values. You can stand firmly behind them, just as Taurus does. Build from a foundation of self-respect and natural boundaries, not from a sense of urgency or a need to prove yourself. Give yourself the space to move forward slowly but deliberately. Small steps, fueled by attention and intention, ultimately prove to be the most valuable.

Work with this energy by grounding yourself. Spend time in nature, relax, connect with your body (through movement or meditation), write down your intentions, make something with your hands, or create a sense of calm in your surroundings.

May 17: Mercury in Gemini

After the calming clarity of the Sun-Mercury conjunction, the energy is now starting to shift noticeably. With Mercury in Gemini, thoughts, conversations, and ideas are picking up speed. Mercury feels right at home in this air sign: curious, playful, sharp-witted, and constantly seeking connection. It’s as if the world is starting to spin faster again and new information is coming at you from all directions at once.

You may find that your need for connection, inspiration, and mental stimulation is growing. Conversations open doors, unexpected encounters bring insights, and ideas seem to form faster than you can keep up with them. This is a wonderful time to write, learn, network, brainstorm, or put into words what has become clear to you in silence over the past few days.

But where movement returns, there is also a tendency to go in all directions at once. It’s easy to let your attention wander, try to keep up with too much, or lose yourself in a constant stream of input. That is precisely why this energy calls for conscious focus. Not every idea needs to be acted upon immediately. Not every thought demands a response.

Work with this transition by giving curiosity room to breathe, while at the same time regularly pausing to reflect on what truly resonates with you. Consciously choose which conversations you engage in and what information you allow in. When you give your mind moments of rest, clarity emerges amid all the noise.

Mercury in Gemini reminds you that growth doesn’t always have to be difficult. Sometimes, change comes about through lightness, playfulness, and the courage to follow your curiosity. A question can be more valuable right now than a direct answer.
