Energy This Week
June is, in any case, a month of action, movement, celebrating life, and expansion. We are moving toward the longest day of the year, and the energy is building ever more rapidly. Last week, the sun gave the energy an extra boost with a series of powerful solar flares and a solar storm. You may have felt the effects: headaches, nausea, fatigue, poor sleep, vivid dreams, brain fog, difficulty focusing, and stiff muscles.
Despite the energy building up, this week can feel like a transitional phase, during which you can catch your breath on the one hand, yet feel a little lost on the other. Because when the storm passes and things quiet down briefly, other issues can come to the surface that only now have the space to do so.
Use this space and breathing room as preparation for the period ahead, during which a number of significant astrological events are on the horizon:
- June 13: Feminine Venus moves into fiery Leo
- June 15: New Moon in restless, changeable Gemini
- June 19: Chiron, "the wounded healer," moves from Aries into Taurus for the first time in years
- June 21: The Sun enters loving Cancer and the summer solstice
- June 29: Mercury retrograde in Cancer
- June 30: Jupiter enters Leo and a full moon in Capricorn, bringing June to a powerful close
These energies bring a whole range of feelings and emotions that can change rapidly: passion, ardor, and sensuality. Perhaps also some chaos stemming from the "main Gemini energy," along with more thoughts and rumination. And a powerful shift from action and survival toward slowing down, grounding, and inner stability.
All of this together can be exhausting and confusing. Phew, what am I actually feeling right now? Where do I stand? What do I need to nourish myself? And where do I want to go from here? The energy of Mercury, which has been in Cancer since June 1 and goes retrograde on June 29, can help you turn inward with gentleness and care and start a conversation with yourself.
Lunar phase: waning moon.
June 13: Venus in Leo
When Venus enters the fiery realm of Leo, the energy of love shifts toward visibility, warmth, and passion. The feminine no longer wants to hide, but to shine in all its glory: proud, sensual, creative, and vibrant. Venus in Leo reminds you that love is not only to be felt, but also to be seen—in words, in touch, in gestures, and in the way you present yourself to the world.
This transit invites you to put your heart at the center of everything you do. To not limit love, but to experience it in all its grandeur. To embrace beauty and self-expression without restraint or guilt. It is an energy that calls for creation from the heart: playing, celebrating, daring to shine—even when that brings to light what you previously preferred to keep hidden.
At the same time, Venus in Leo brings a strong longing for authenticity in relationships: what is real, what is genuine, and where can the heart fully open up without a mask? Love becomes warmer, but also more honest. It wants to be felt in all its intensity.
This fiery heart energy sets something in motion that deepens and refines itself two days later under the new moon in Gemini. While Leo opens the heart and stokes the fire, Gemini then brings air and movement: curiosity, words, exchange, and mental clarity. It is as though the heart first dares to speak in color and passion, after which the mind learns to put into words exactly what is being felt.
"How are your light and love energy? Do you love yourself and life? What do love and warmth mean to you? How do you embody and express them?"

Energy this week
June is, after all, a month of action, movement, celebration of life, and expansion. We’re heading toward the longest day of the year, and the energy is building faster and faster. Last week, the sun gave the energy an extra boost with a series of powerful solar flares and a solar storm. You may have felt it: headaches, nausea, fatigue, poor sleep, vivid dreams, brain fog, difficulty concentrating, and stiff muscles.
Despite the uplifting energy, this week may feel like a transitional phase—a time when you can catch your breath, yet also feel a bit lost. Because when the storm subsides and things quiet down for a moment, other issues may surface that are only now finding room to emerge.
Use this space and this moment of respite to prepare for the coming period, during which a series of significant astrological events will take place:
- June 13: Feminine Venus enters fiery Leo
- June 15: New Moon in the changeable, moody sign of Gemini
- June 19: Chiron, "the wounded healer," moves from Aries into Taurus for the first time in years
- June 21: The Sun enters loving Cancer and the summer solstice
- June 29: Mercury retrograde in Cancer
- June 30: Jupiter in Leo and a full moon in Capricorn, bringing June to a powerful close
These energies bring a whole range of feelings and emotions that can shift rapidly: passion, fire, and sensuality. Perhaps also a bit of chaos due to the "Gemini primary energy," along with more thoughts and rumination. And a powerful shift from action and survival toward slowing down, grounding, and inner stability.
All of this can be overwhelming and confusing. Phew, what am I actually feeling right now? Where do I stand? What do I need to nourish myself? And where do I want to go from here? The energy of Mercury, which has been in Cancer since June 1 and goes retrograde on June 29, can help you turn inward with gentleness and care and start a dialogue with yourself.
Venus in Leo reminds you that love is not only meant to be felt, but also to be seen—in words, in touch, in gestures, and in the way you present yourself to the world.
This transit invites you to put your heart at the center of everything you do. Don’t hold back on love—experience it fully. Allow beauty and self-expression without reservation or guilt. It is an energy that calls for creation from the heart: play, celebrate, dare to shine—even if that brings to light areas where you previously preferred to stay in the background.
At the same time, Venus in Leo brings a strong desire for authenticity in relationships: What is real, what is sincere, and where can the heart fully engage without a mask? Love becomes warmer, but also more honest. It wants to be felt in all its intensity.
This fiery heart energy sets something in motion that deepens and refines itself two days later under the new moon in Gemini. While Leo opens the heart and stokes the fire, Gemini then brings air and movement: curiosity, words, exchange, and mental clarity. It is as if the heart first dares to speak in color and passion, whereupon the mind learns to put into words exactly what is being felt.
"How is your power of light and love? Do you love yourself and life? What do love and warmth mean to you? How do you embody these qualities and share them with the world?"

- June 13: Feminine Venus enters fiery Leo;
- June 15: New Moon in lively, fickle Gemini;
- June 19: Chiron, “the wounded healer,” moves from Aries to Taurus for the first time in years;

- June 30: Jupiter moves into Leo and there’s a full moon in Capricorn, bringing June to a powerful close.
These energies create a whole range of feelings and emotions that can shift rapidly: ardor, passion, and sensuality. Perhaps also some chaos due to the Gemini-dominant energy, along with more thoughts and worrying. And a powerful shift from action and survival to slowing down, grounding, and inner stability. All of this together can be exhausting and confusing. Gosh, what am I actually feeling right now? Where do I stand? What nourishment do I need? And where do I want to go? The energy of Mercury, which has been in Cancer since June 1 and will go retrograde on June 29, can help you turn inward with gentleness and nurturing and engage in a dialogue with yourself.

At the same time, Venus in Leo brings a strong desire for authenticity in relationships: what is real, what is sincere, and where can the heart fully commit without a mask? Love becomes warmer, but also more honest. It wants to be felt in all its intensity.
This fiery heart energy sets something in motion that deepens and refines itself two days later under the new moon in Gemini.
