Energy This Week

After the breathing space of last week, the energy this week feels much more charged and electric. The Sun has also become more active again after a quieter period, with heightened solar winds and more geomagnetic storms. As a result, it may also storm within you-the energy can rush through your body.

In addition, the energies of Scorpio and Aries are clashing with that of Libra this week. Elementally, air (Scorpio and Libra) and fire (Aries) usually blend well in astrology. Fire transforms and fuels, while air brings movement and space. A beautiful combination if you want to get work done or pursue your passions. Yet too much air can fan the fire until it blazes out of control and becomes destructive.

This week is still about balance and sensing moderation. What can I say or do-where is my boundary-and what is better left unsaid or undone? Moderation and self-control are key themes. The energy can put both mind and emotions on edge. Be mindful of this. Do not let yourself be pulled into someone else's emotions and conflicts. And guard yourself from lashing out or stinging with your words.

This week begins with a waxing Moon, followed by a Full Moon on October 7, after which the Moon starts to wane again.

October 6: Mercury in Scorpio

Around October 6, the energy shifts noticeably as Mercury enters the intense and probing sign of Scorpio. Where communication was previously oriented toward harmony, the tone now becomes more serious, penetrating, and psychologically charged.

While Mercury was in Libra, conversations could remain somewhat on the surface, circling around issues in order to avoid conflict. In Scorpio, this energy pierces straight through, instinctively searching for the core, cutting through facades, seeking what truly lives beneath the surface. This can heighten tension in conversations or when spending time with someone with whom unresolved issues still linger. Pretending no longer works with this energy.

In Scorpio, Mercury does not speak idle words, but searches for truth beneath appearances. Thoughts and dialogues may take on a sharper edge, charged with emotion and intuition. Together with Mars-also in Scorpio-this creates a powerful mental and emotional force. It makes you determined, strategic, and acutely aware of what is left unsaid. You may sense more strongly than ever when something is off. Confrontations may arise, especially around unspoken tensions, control, vulnerability, and intensity.

Mercury in Scorpio is detective-like energy: it is not enough to "understand" something, you want to penetrate to the essence-however painful, confronting, or uncomfortable. Scorpio excels at reading between the lines, feeling what is not spoken, and interpreting body language. It works mainly within the subconscious. Beautiful self-inquiries for this period are: Do you dare to name the truth, even when it hurts? Do you dare to listen with your whole being, beyond fear or judgment?

This energy also grants access to your own inner channel of insights. It is supportive for inner work, shadow work, therapy, rituals, deep meditations, and writing or speaking your truth. In combination with Mars, it can break old mental patterns and release stuck emotions.

Be mindful, though, that this energy can also bring suspicion, control issues, or obsessive thinking. The challenge is to use the sharpness for self-awareness and transformation-not for control over yourself or others.

October 7: Full Moon in Aries

On October 7, tension peaks in the skies with a powerful Full Moon in Aries. Some astrologers even call it a supermoon, as the Moon is closer to Earth and therefore stronger. This Full Moon may feel like a moment of confrontation, awakening, and release of built-up tension, bringing a sense of liberation.

Aries represents the pure I am-initiative, instinct, and vitality. This fiery Moon asks you to return to yourself, to your essence, reconnecting with the original fire you came to Earth with. She touches you where you have strayed too far from your path, where you have adapted or held yourself back.

At the same time, the Sun still stands in Libra, the sign of balance, connection, and harmony with others. This Aries-Libra polarity forms the core of this energetic lesson: how do you remain true to yourself without losing connection with others? How do you claim your space without overshadowing another's? It takes courage to live from your own truth without dissolving into pleasing or adapting.

The energy of this Moon may feel raw and emotional. You may be challenged in places where you lost yourself in the pursuit of peace or approval. Old anger, suppressed desires, or forgotten dreams can suddenly resurface-not to destroy, but to wake you up. What within you wants to be felt, lived, or expressed again?

Mars, the ruler of Aries, is also in Scorpio, intensifying the energy further. This is not about impulsive action without awareness, but about courageous, transformative choices. It is not about doing for the sake of doing, but about acting in alignment with your soul. Pluto-also connected with Scorpio-will station directly on October 14 after a long retrograde, adding an extra boost in consciousness. This week, you may already sense what your soul truly desires, what still resonates, and what must be released.

Altogether, this Full Moon brings a feeling of inner awakening. Yet instead of rushing into immediate action, you are invited first to pause. To ground into your body, turn inward, and listen to what lives there.

You do not need to take big steps. First comes the insight, then the action. First you feel where the friction lies, then you decide: no further. This order is essential. If you act impulsively without the depth of Mercury in Scorpio, your reaction can be destructive or rash. But if you first listen deeply, you can use Aries' energy to make powerful, authentic choices. This is your moment to remember yourself-in your raw truth, in your strength, in your full presence.

"What wants to be born through you? What are you still holding onto that keeps you from living fully?"

Was will in dir wieder gefühlt, gelebt oder ausgedrückt werden?

"Was will durch dich geboren werden?

Energy this week

After last week's breathing space, this week's energy feels a lot more charged and electrically charged. The sun is also more active again after a quiet period, the solar wind has increased and there are more geomagnetic storms. As a result, things may be storming within you as well, the energy may be racing through your body.

In addition, the energy of Scorpio and Aries romp with that of Libra this week. Air (Scorpio and Libra) and fire (Aries) generally go well together astrologically. Fire nourishes and transforms and air gives movement and space. A great energy if you want to get work done or work with your passion. But fire can also turn to flame and be destructive due to too much air.

This week is still about balance and dosing from feeling. What can I say and do - where is my limit - and what is better to leave out. Moderation and self-control are important themes. The energy can put things on edge mentally and emotionally. Keep that in mind. Don't get caught up in the other person's emotions and conflicts. And don't sneer and poke at the other person yourself either.

This week begins with a waxing moon, followed by a full moon on Oct. 7, after which the moon recedes (waning moon).

Oct. 6: Mercury in Scorpio

Around Oct. 6, the energy changes noticeably as Mercury enters the intense and profound sign of Scorpio. Where communication previously focused on harmony, the tone now becomes more serious, probing and psychologically charged.

Mercury was in Libra for this. Conversations then could remain a bit on the surface, in which there was a lot of beating around the bush, to avoid conflict. This energy pierces through everything, as if instinctively searching for the core, through all facades. To find out what is really alive in someone and bubbling under the surface. This can "cut" tension during conversations or when you are with someone with whom you still have issues to resolve. Keeping up appearances does not work with this energy....

In Scorpio, Mercury does not just speak words, but searches for truth beneath the surface. Thoughts and conversations can take on a sharp edge, charged with emotion and intuition. Together with Mars - who is also in Scorpio - there is a mental and emotional power gathering. This position makes you tenacious, strategic and sensitive to what is left unsaid. You feel more than ever when something is not right. Confrontations may present themselves. You can especially feel tensions at play in the undercurrent, where control, vulnerability and intensity come together.

Mercury in Scorpio is a detective energy, where it is not enough to "understand something," you want to get through to the essence. No matter how painful, confrontational or uncomfortable it may be. Scorpio is master at reading between the lines, sensing what is not being said and interpreting someone's body posture. This sign works primarily in the subconscious. Great questions to ask yourself are: 'Do you dare to name the truth, even when it is painful? Do you dare to listen with your whole being, beyond judgment or fear?

In addition, Mercury in Scorpio also provides access to your own inner channel of insights. This energy is suitable for inner work, shadow work, therapy, rituals, deep meditations and writing or speaking truth. The combination with Mars can thereby break old mental patterns and set stuck emotions in motion.

But be aware that this energy can also be accompanied by suspicion, control tendencies or obsessive thinking. The challenge is to use the sharpness of this mode for self-insight and transformation, not for controlling yourself and others.

Oct. 7: Full moon in Aries

On Oct. 7, excitement in the sky reaches a peak with a powerful full moon in Aries. Some astrologers even speak of a supermoon. This is when the moon is closer to Earth and therefore even stronger. This full moon can feel like a moment of confrontation, awareness and release of all built-up tension, giving a sense of liberation.

Aries is the sign of the pure "I am," of initiative, instinct and zest for life. This fiery moon asks you to return to yourself, to your essence. And to reconnect with the original fire with which you came to earth. She touches you at the point where you have deviated from your path for too long, where you have adapted or restrained yourself.

At the same time, the Sun is still in Libra, the sign that is all about balance, connection and finding harmony with others. This opposition between Aries and Libra is at the heart of this moment's energetic lesson: How do you stay true to yourself, without losing connection with others? How do you take your place without overshadowing that of another? It takes courage to live from your own truth, without losing yourself in pleasing or accommodating.

The energy of this moon can feel raw and emotional. You may be challenged in places where you have lost yourself in the pursuit of peace or approval. Old anger, repressed desires or forgotten dreams may suddenly surface. Not to be destructive, but to wake you up. What in you wants to be felt, experienced or expressed again?

Mars - the ruler of Aries - is also in Scorpio, providing even more intensity. This is not an energy for impulsive actions without awareness, but for courageous, profound choices. It is not about doing for the sake of doing, but about acting in alignment with your soul. Pluto - also associated with Scorpio - resumes direct motion from Oct. 14 after a long retrograde period and can give you an extra boost in consciousness this week. You can suddenly sense clearly what your soul's desires are, what still resonates and what you may let go of.

All in all, this full moon brings a sense of inner awakening. But instead of immediately wanting to act or force decisions, you are invited to first be still. To sink into your body, turn inward and listen to that which lives there.

You don't have to take big steps. First comes the insight, then the action. First you feel where it chafes, then you decide: up to here and no further. This order is important. If you act impulsively without the depth of Mercury in Scorpio, you may react destructively or thoughtlessly. But if you listen to what's really going on first, you can use Aries energy to make powerful, authentic choices. This is your moment to remember yourself, in your raw truth, in your power and in your full presence.

'What wants to be born through you? What are you still holding onto that is preventing you from living fully?'
