Energy This Week

Last week was a week of slowing down, resting, and simply being present in the moment. The energy felt slow, heavy, and slightly cold. The snow that covered large parts of Europe (and in some places still does) pressed the pause button. Schools closed, and many companies worked from home as much as possible. The world seemed to come to a standstill for a moment, like an extension of the Christmas holidays. Some even called it a "snow lockdown," arriving at exactly the right time.

This week, energy begins to flow a little more, yet rest still takes center stage. You may feel tired, want to sleep more, feel little motivation to leave the house, or struggle to get much done. Surrender to it. This is not a time to push, but to nourish. To strengthen yourself for the spring ahead. Winter is not simply a colder season; it is a sacred pause. An invitation to do nothing, to release focus for a while, and to trust the rhythm of rest and restoration.

This week also marks a transition from Capricorn to Aquarius energy. Pluto has already been in Aquarius for some time. January began with a powerful and rare Capricorn stellium. From January 17, when Venus moves into Aquarius, we gradually shift towards an Aquarius stellium. From January 18 to 20, the Moon travels through Aquarius. On January 20, Mercury and the Sun join in, and on January 23, Mars completes the Aquarian gathering.

Capricorn energy is responsible, goal-oriented, and strict. It calls for discipline and perseverance, but can also feel heavy and rigid. Over the past weeks, this may have shown up as inner resistance: wanting to move forward while your body asked for rest. This tension may have brought frustration.

Aquarius gently begins to lift the heavy veil this week. She brings lightness, movement, and fresh air. Aquarius energy is open-minded, authentic, rebellious where necessary, and deeply connected to freedom and renewal. She invites you to follow your heart, to speak your truth — even if it goes against the current — and to explore new paths. This is energy that can inspire you to reflect on how you, in your own unique way, can contribute to a more loving and conscious world.

Moon phases this week: waning Moon (until January 17) and new Moon (January 18).

January 17: Venus in Aquarius

When Venus enters the airy, visionary energy of Aquarius on January 17, our experience of love, connection, and values begins to shift. Venus remains in Aquarius until February 10.

Venus always invites us to feel: what do I find beautiful, what do I cherish, and what truly nourishes me? In Aquarius, she does this in a way that may feel unfamiliar. Less through the familiar, the safe, or the traditional — and more through freedom, authenticity, and truth.

Venus in Aquarius does not ask for possession, but for space, mutual respect, and equality. Love is allowed to breathe here. Relationships become mirrors in which you are invited to be yourself: unfiltered, unrestricted, and sometimes a little different from the norm. This energy encourages you to break through old relationship patterns and to honestly examine where you may have adapted yourself just to belong.

Aquarius is the rebel of the zodiac, but also the visionary. Under this influence, Venus shifts her focus from the personal to the collective. Love becomes bigger than romance alone. It flows through friendships, soul connections, communities, and like-minded circles.

You may feel a strong desire to connect with people who share your values, who inspire you, and who want to co-create a new way of living together. More loving, freer, and more conscious.

This Venus placement can also bring a certain emotional distance, as it asks for clear boundaries in love. You are invited to feel: where do I end, and where do you begin? Venus in Aquarius teaches us that true intimacy arises when two people can stand side by side, rather than merging into one another.

Creativity receives a refreshing impulse under this energy. Beauty is no longer found in perfection, but in originality. In the unpolished, the honest, the unconventional. You may feel drawn to new forms of expression, alternative aesthetics, or ideas that are ahead of their time. What resonates with your truth, rather than with what is expected?

On a deeper level, Venus in Aquarius invites you to liberate your heart. To release what keeps you small, what restricts you, or what no longer aligns. She whispers: you are allowed to be different. You are allowed to love in your own way. And by remaining true to yourself, you contribute to something greater.

This period does not call for quick decisions, but it does call for honesty. With yourself and with others. What feels free? What feels constricting? Where does love flow, and where does it hold itself back out of habit or fear?

Venus in Aquarius reminds you that love is not meant to confine or suffocate, but to open you fully. To new perspectives, new connections, and a future where love and freedom walk hand in hand.

January 18: New Moon in Capricorn

This New Moon in Capricorn invites a quiet yet powerful reset. Its movement is subtle, working beneath the surface. In the emptiness of the New Moon, you are invited to slow down and listen to what is solid and true in your life — and to what wants to grow from within.

This is not a moment for big leaps, but for planting seeds that may take root slowly, with patience and care. In silence and darkness. The intentions you set now seek sustainability and are carried by inner maturity.

This New Moon falls within a time of transition. While the energy is gradually shifting towards Aquarius, Capricorn first helps us anchor. What may remain? What deserves your commitment in the coming cycle? Capricorn asks for honesty around boundaries, energy, and responsibility — from a place of self-respect, self-love, and freedom. You do not have to carry everything. Only what is truly yours.

Use this New Moon to tune in quietly. To feel an intention rather than think one up. This New Moon offers no immediate answers, but creates space. What begins now knows no rush. In the stillness of winter, something is forming that will find its shape later, at exactly the right moment. For now, remain a little longer in the emptiness and the silence.

“Where do I want to consciously connect my energy this week — with love, freedom, and attention — so that it may grow slowly and find its form at the right time?”

Energy diese Woche

Last week was all about slowing down, resting, and simply being in the moment. The energy was slow, sluggish, and a little cool. The snow that covered large parts of Europe (and still lies in many places) symbolically pressed the pause button. Schools closed, companies worked from home as much as possible. The world seemed to stand still for a moment — like an extension of the Christmas holidays. Some even called it a "snow lockdown" that came at just the right time.

This week, energy will begin to flow a little more, but rest will remain the central theme. You may feel tired, want to sleep more, have little desire to leave the house, or find it difficult to get anything done. Give in to this. This is not a time to push yourself, but to nourish yourself. To strengthen yourself for the coming spring. Winter is not just a colder season; it is a sacred pause. An invitation to not have to do anything, to let go of focus and trust in the rhythm of rest and regeneration.

This week also marks the transition from Capricorn to Aquarius energy. Pluto has already been in Aquarius for some time. January began with a powerful and rare Capricorn stellium. From January 17, when Venus moves into Aquarius, we are increasingly moving towards an Aquarius stellium. From January 18 to 20, the moon is in Aquarius. On January 20, Mercury and the sun join in, and on January 23, Mars completes the Aquarius gathering.

The energy of Capricorn is responsible, goal-oriented, and strict. It demands discipline and perseverance, but can also feel heavy and rigid. In recent weeks, this may have manifested itself in a desire to move forward while your body craved rest. This tension could have caused frustration.

Aquarius begins this week by gently lifting the heavy veil. It brings lightness, movement, and fresh air. Aquarius energy is open, authentic, rebellious when necessary, and deeply connected to freedom and renewal. It invites you to follow your heart, speak your truth — even if it goes against the grain — and explore new paths. This energy can inspire you to explore how you can contribute to a more loving and conscious world in your own unique way.

Moon phases this week: waning moon (until January 17) and new moon (January 18).

January 17: Venus in Aquarius

When Venus enters the airy, visionary energy of Aquarius on January 17, our perception of love, connection, and value changes. Venus remains in Aquarius until February 10.

Venus always invites us to feel: What do I find beautiful? What do I value? And what truly nourishes me? In Aquarius, this happens in an unfamiliar way. Less about the familiar, the safe, or the traditional—and more about freedom, authenticity, and truth.

Venus in Aquarius does not desire possession, but rather space, affirmation, and equality. Love is allowed to breathe here. Relationships become mirrors in which you can be completely yourself: unfiltered, free, and sometimes even a little different from the norm. This energy invites you to break old relationship patterns and take an honest look at where you may have conformed in order to fit in.

Aquarius is the rebel of the zodiac, but also the visionary. Under this influence, Venus shifts its focus from the personal to the collective. Love becomes greater than pure romance. It flows through friendships, soul connections, communities, and like-minded people.

You may feel a strong need to connect with people who share your values, inspire you, and want to work with you to create a new way of living together. More loving, more free, and more conscious.

This Venus position can also bring a certain distance, as it calls for clear boundaries in love. You are allowed to feel: Where do I end, and where do you begin? Venus in Aquarius teaches us that true intimacy arises when two people can stand side by side — not on top of each other.

Creativity receives a renewing impulse under this energy. Beauty no longer lies in perfection, but in originality. In the unpolished, honest, and unconventional. You may feel drawn to new forms of expression, alternative aesthetics, or ideas that are ahead of their time. What resonates with your truth—rather than with what one "should" do?

On a deeper level, Venus in Aquarius invites you to free your heart. To let go of what holds you back, restricts you, or no longer feels right. She whispers: You are allowed to be different. You are allowed to love in your own way. And it is precisely by remaining true to yourself that you contribute to something greater.

This phase does not require quick decisions, but it does require honesty. Honesty towards yourself and others. What feels free? What feels restrictive? Where does love flow, and where does it hold back out of habit or fear?

Venus in Aquarius reminds you that love is not about holding on or restricting, but about opening yourself completely. For new perspectives, new connections, and a future in which love and freedom go hand in hand.

January 18: New moon in Capricorn

This new moon in Capricorn invites you to make a quiet but powerful fresh start. It works beneath the surface. In the emptiness of the new moon, you can slow down and listen to what is stable and true in your life — and what wants to grow from within you.

This is not a time for big leaps, but for planting seeds that can slowly take root with patience and mindfulness. In silence and darkness. The intentions you set now should be sustainable and supported by inner maturity.

This new moon falls during a time of transition. While energy is gradually shifting toward Aquarius, Capricorn initially helps us to anchor ourselves. What can remain? What deserves your commitment in the coming cycle? Capricorn demands honesty in terms of boundaries, energy, and responsibility—out of self-respect, self-love, and freedom. You don't have to carry everything. Only what truly belongs to you.

Use this new moon to quietly center yourself. Feel an intention rather than thinking it. This new moon does not provide answers, but rather creates space. What is emerging now is in no hurry. In the winter silence, something is forming that will take shape later, at the right time. So stay a little longer in the emptiness and silence.

"What do I want to consciously connect my energy with this week—with love, freedom, and attention—so that it can slowly grow and find its form at the right time?"

Energy this week

Last week was a week of slowing down, resting, and simply being in the moment. The energy was slow, sluggish, and a little chilly. The snow that covered (and still covers) large parts of Europe pressed the pause button. Schools were closed and companies worked from home as much as possible. The world seemed to have come to a standstill for a moment, an extension of the Christmas holidays. Some called it a "snowdown," which came at just the right time.

This week, energy flows a little more freely, but rest still prevails. You may feel tired, want to sleep more, have little desire to leave the house, and not get much done. Surrender to it. This is not a time to push yourself, but to nourish yourself. To strengthen yourself for the spring that is coming. Winter is not just a colder period of the year; it is a sacred pause. An invitation to do nothing, to not have to focus for a while and to trust in the rhythm of rest and recovery.

In addition, this week we are transitioning from Capricorn to Aquarius energy. Pluto has already been in Aquarius for a while. January began with a powerful and rare Capricorn stellium. From January 17, when Venus shifts to Aquarius, we move to an Aquarius stellium. From January 18 to 20, the moon is in Aquarius. On January 20, Mercury and the sun also join in, and on January 23, Mars completes the Aquarius party.

Capricorn energy is responsible, goal-oriented, and strict. It requires discipline and perseverance, but can also feel heavy and rigid. In recent weeks, this may have meant that you were getting in your own way: you wanted to move forward, but your body was asking for rest. This tension could have caused frustration.

This week, Aquarius gently lifts the heavy veil. She brings relief, movement, and fresh air. Aquarius energy is open-minded, authentic, rebellious when necessary, and deeply connected to freedom and innovation. It invites you to follow your heart, speak your mind—even if it goes against the grain—and explore new paths. This is energy that can inspire you to explore how you, in your own unique way, can contribute to a more loving and conscious world.

Venus in Aquarius does not ask for possession, but for space, affirmation, and equality. Love is allowed to breathe here. Relationships become mirrors in which you can be yourself: unfiltered, uninhibited, and sometimes even a little different from the norm. This energy invites you to break through old patterns of love and take an honest look at where you may have adapted yourself in order to fit in.

Aquarius is the rebel of the zodiac, but also the visionary. Under this influence, Venus shifts its focus from the personal to the collective. Love becomes greater than romance alone. It flows through friendships, soulmates, communities, and kindred spirits.

You may feel a strong need to connect with people who share your values, who inspire you, and who want to work with you to build a new way of living together. More loving, freer, and more conscious.

This Venus position can also bring a certain aloofness, because it requires clear boundaries in love. You are allowed to feel: where do I end and where do you begin? Venus in Aquarius teaches us that true intimacy arises when two people can stand side by side, not on top of each other.

Creativity receives an innovative impulse under this energy. Beauty no longer lies in perfection, but in originality. In the unpolished, the honest, the idiosyncratic. You may feel drawn to new forms of expression, alternative aesthetics, or ideas that are ahead of their time. What resonates with your truth rather than what is "expected"?

On a deeper level, Venus in Aquarius invites you to free your heart. To let go of what keeps you small, what limits you, or what no longer feels right. She whispers:you are allowed to be different. You are allowed to love in your own way. And it is precisely by remaining true to yourself that you contribute to the greater whole.

This period does not call for quick decisions, but it does call for honesty. Honesty with yourself and with others. What feels free? What feels restrictive? Where does love flow, and where does it hold itself back out of habit or fear?

Venus in Aquarius reminds you that love is not meant to be restrictive and suffocating, but to open yourself up completely. For new perspectives, new connections, and a future in which love and freedom go hand in hand.

January 18: New Moon in Capricorn

This new moon in Capricorn invites you to make a quiet but powerful fresh start. It moves beneath the surface. In the emptiness of the new moon, you can slow down and listen to what is solid and real in your life. And what you want to grow from within.

This is not a time for big leaps, but rather for planting seeds that can slowly take root with patience and attention. In silence and darkness. The intentions you set now should be sustainable and supported by inner maturity.

This new moon falls during a time of transition. As the energy slowly shifts toward Aquarius, Capricorn first helps us to anchor ourselves. What can stay? What deserves your commitment in the coming cycle? Capricorn asks for honesty about boundaries, energy, and responsibility. Based on self-respect, self-love, and freedom. You don't have to carry everything. Only what is truly yours.

Use this new moon to tune in quietly. To feel an intention rather than think it up. This new moon does not provide answers, but creates space. What is emerging now is in no hurry. Under the winter silence, something is forming that will find its shape later, at the right moment. So stay in the emptiness and silence for a while longer.
