Energy This Week
Last week set something in motion, mostly beneath the surface. With Black Moon Lilith in Capricorn, it became clear where you’re still clinging to expectations, responsibilities, or structures that no longer serve you.
With Chiron's return to Aries, old wounds related to adapting, belonging, and holding back may resurface. Lilith revealed where you have limited yourself, while Chiron invited you to feel who you are when you truly give yourself the space.
This week, a gentler energy of balance flows in. The Sun enters Libra, and on the same day, the fall equinox occurs. This is a natural turning point: day and night are almost equal in length, and light and dark hold each other in balance.
At the same time, the full moon in Aries brings a considerable amount of fire, which can upset the balance. You may feel more restless, tense, and impatient. With the energies of Lilith and Chiron in the background, it may feel as though the universe is holding you to account. Make sure to set aside enough time for rest and release.
Astrologically, Aries is associated with the head. An excess of fire (yang energy) can cause a feeling of heaviness in the head, mental overload, and headaches. Go outside, take a walk, exercise, or move around to release that energy.
This week calls for the right balance between slowing down, letting go, and making choices entirely for yourself.
Lunar phases: waxing moon (until September 25), full moon (September 26), and waning moon (starting September 27).
September 23: The Sun enters Libra and the autumn equinox
On September 23, the Sun moves from Virgo into Libra. After a period of organizing, working, refining, and focusing on practical needs, space opens up for something different: connection, beauty, gentleness, and the question of what is needed to experience balance once again.
On the same day, we celebrate the autumn equinox: the beginning of astronomical autumn in the northern hemisphere. From now on, the days become noticeably shorter, and nature increasingly invites you to turn inward.
It is almost as if nature itself holds up a mirror to you on this day. Where is there balance in your life, and where has it perhaps been lost? Where do you give a lot but receive little? Where do you make room for others, while at the same time making yourself a little smaller?
Libra is the energy of connection. It seeks to meet others, listen, understand different perspectives, and find a way for both sides to coexist. It loves beauty and harmony and has a natural sense of what feels right, both in relationships and in the environment around it. But Libra also reminds you of something important: harmony does not come from silencing yourself.
A genuine connection requires that you bring your true self into the relationship—that you can express your feelings, have the courage to acknowledge your limits, and make room for what you need. Sometimes balance doesn’t mean that everything is divided exactly equally, but that there is enough room for both you and the other person.
Autumn, meanwhile, brings its own wisdom. The trees let go effortlessly and without any resistance of what is no longer needed. Not because life ends, but because letting go makes room for a new cycle. You, too, may want to reflect on what has run its course. Which expectations, patterns, or connections do you no longer need to carry with you?
September 26: Full Moon in Aries
This full moon in Aries can feel quite fiery and intense. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and embodies the energy of the beginning: the primal instinct to live, to move, to choose, and to claim one’s space.
What has been inside you for some time may therefore come to the surface more strongly. Perhaps you’ll suddenly feel the urge to speak your mind, draw a line, make a decision, or finally take action.
Emotions can flare up more quickly, and feelings can hit home more directly. Anger, frustration, impatience, or a strong desire for freedom don’t have to be something you suppress. They can show you exactly where you’ve been holding yourself back. The energy of Aries doesn’t call for impulsively turning everything upside down, but for honestly asking yourself: What truly wants to flow through you?
The full moon in Aries puts the focus on yourself, your needs, your desires, your autonomy, and your courage to follow your own path. Opposite the Sun in Libra, the other comes into play: relationships, connection, harmony, and the question of how you relate to the people around you. This can create a palpable tension between “I” and “we.”
You may therefore feel more strongly:
- In what ways am I still adapting to the other person?
- In what ways am I holding myself back to maintain harmony?
- Where can I make a clearer choice for myself?
- Can I stay true to myself without losing touch with others?
Chiron in Aries makes this full moon particularly intense when it comes to old pain related to rejection, not being chosen, not belonging, or the feeling of not being good enough. Perhaps you’ll notice that you’re reacting more emotionally or more fiercely than usual. Not because you’re “too sensitive,” but because this full moon can touch on something that has been a sensitive issue for some time.
Perhaps a belief has taken root somewhere that you are “too much” when you truly show who you are. Or that you must first prove something before you can take your place. That can be challenging, but it also holds the potential for healing. You no longer need to downplay yourself to maintain the connection.
The Sun in Libra makes you feel that connection is important, while Chiron in Aries brings you back to your connection with yourself. The Aries-Libra axis thus poses an essential question: How can I remain true to myself without closing my heart to others?
Making choices for yourself doesn't automatically mean letting the other person down or shutting yourself off. Boundaries don't have to be walls. Sometimes, daring to be honest about what you need is precisely the most loving way to connect.
This full moon is the perfect time for a powerful release ritual. Let go of what you’ve been carrying for too long, especially old beliefs about who you must be to deserve love, recognition, or connection. Write down what you want to release, burn it, and let it transform.
And say aloud, not out of struggle or ego, but from your beautiful and courageous heart:
I may be here.
I may be myself.
I may choose what feels right for me.
And I don't need to give up on myself to do that.
"What is the nature of your relationship with the other? Where do you stand? Can you fully claim your own place, your right to exist? Or is there still a belief somewhere that you must first earn your unique place?"

September 26: Full Moon in Aries
This full moon in Aries can feel quite fiery and intense. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and carries the energy of beginnings: the primal instinct to live, to move, to choose, and to take up space.
